We are looking for a hands-on and customer-oriented
Field Service Engineer / Technician
to support our growing U.S. customer base.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting CurifyLabs’ pharmaceutical 3D printers and related laboratory equipment. As you have some years of experience in field service for lab automation, liquid handlers, 3D printers, medical devices, or similar electromechanical equipment, you enjoy working with technical drawings and service documentation. You are known for your strong troubleshooting skills across network-connected, mechanical, electronic, and software-controlled systems and your customer-focused mindset makes you feel at home at customer sites. You operate independently and have a valid driver’s license. You are happy on the road and love traveling frequently across U.S.
You’ll work closely with our engineering team in Helsinki, serving as the technical bridge between our customers and product development, while playing a key role in ensuring reliable performance and continuous improvement of our solutions.
What You’ll Do
Install, maintain, and repair CurifyLabs’ pharmaceutical 3D printers and supporting devices
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance according to service plans to ensure high equipment uptime and reliability
Troubleshoot issues both on-site and remotely, including mechanical, electrical, network, and software-related problems
Escalate complex technical issues and collaborate closely with the Helsinki-based engineering team
Advise customers on best practices, safe usage, and daily operation of our systems
Act as the primary technical contact during service visits
Support installations, upgrades, and other field actions as needed
Travel extensively across the U.S. (approximately 70–80%) to support our customers
What We’re Looking For
Experience with network administration, including configuring and maintaining office networks, routers, and firewalls using professional-grade equipment
Experience working in regulated environments (pharma, biotech, or healthcare)
CCNA or equivalent networking certification
Familiarity with Windows Command Prompt and/or Linux Terminal
Understanding of GMP or quality and validation practices
