Head of Pharmaceutical Development – Pharmaceutical

Hi, I'm Sari and I am the Head of Pharmaceutical Development at CurifyLabs. I have a PhD in Pharmaceutical technology from the University of Helsinki and I am passionate about my work in the pharmaceutical industry. I have gained extensive experience as a formulation scientist and worked in various roles in this field. I have also worked as a project manager and lecturer, drawing on my expertise in the subject. Previously, I worked at Fimea, the Finnish Medicines Agency.

As someone who values the importance of hard work, I am accustomed to early morning starts - something my dogs are more than happy to remind me of! In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my furry friends and exploring the outdoors.

CurifyLabs emerged from a decade of research by Niklas Sandler Topelius at Åbo Akademi University, Finland. His investigation on modernizing extemporaneous drug manufacturing grabbed the attention of Charlotta Topelius, a successful entrepreneur, who recognized an opportunity to revolutionize manual compounding processes in pharmacies.

In 2021, CurifyLabs was established with a mission to digitize and simplify pharmacy compounding. 

Since then, CurifyLabs has grown and assembled a team of experts in pharmaceutical formulation development, software engineering, and quality control. 

At CurifyLabs, we remain committed to providing solutions that enable optimal treatments for all patients.
