The Role: Part-time Commercial & Customer Success Web Developer

To strengthen our go-to-market strategy, we’re looking for hourly, part-time, Web Developer to join our growing team. Speaking of the team, we are a multidisciplinary group of 20+ individuals from 10 countries, bringing diverse perspectives to our startup environment. As part of CurifyLabs, you’ll have the chance to wear multiple hats, exploring and deepening your knowledge across various domains.

As a Commercial & Customer Success Web Developer you’ll bring our digital presence to life. Your primary focus will be the public‑facing .com site on HubSpot, the Shopify storefront, and the suite of customer‑support SaaS tools that keep our clients informed and empowered. You will own the development, maintenance and continuous support of our HubSpot, Shopify, Analytics & Optimization, SEO and more.

In this role, your days will consist of:

• Designing and developing software
• Design & build the public digital experience on HubSpot CMS, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines and responsive layouts for all devices.
• Develop, theme‑customize, and maintain the Shopify storefront.
• Create and manage APIs, webhooks, and data pipelines that sync the public site, Shopify store, HubSpot CRM, and the production‑facing web app.
• Implement SEO fundamentals: on‑page tags, schema markup, canonical URLs, image alt text, and performance optimizations.
• Set up and maintain analytics & attribution to measure traffic, conversion funnels, and user engagement.
• Drive conversion rate optimization: build and test landing pages, CTAs, A/B variations, and checkout flows; analyze results to iterate.
• Write clean, modular code using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and, when needed, React/Node for dynamic features.
• Ensure responsive, accessible, and cross‑browser compatibility.
• Test and debug front‑end interfaces, e‑commerce checkout, API integrations, and third‑party SaaS connectors (help‑desk, knowledge base, live chat).
• Maintain security and compliance: enforce HTTPS, Content Security Policy, GDPR/CCPA‑ready privacy handling, and regular vulnerability scans.
• Keep up with platform releases (HubSpot, Shopify, etc.) and leverage new features to improve performance and UX.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—Marketing, Sales, Product, and Customer Success—to launch campaigns, support portals, and knowledge‑base updates.
• Document all custom modules, integration flows, and deployment procedures for knowledge transfer and future maintenance.
• Demonstrating graphic design and visual communication skills Familiarity with agile methodologies like Scrum

Willingness to work mostly based on our office in Salmisaari. We have a small tightly-knit team, that enjoys working together with seamless communication also with neighbouring Commercial, Hardware and Pharma teams.

With a Work Permit: We expect you to have a valid working permit for EU.

Bonus for experience, interest or skills in one or many of the following:

• UX/UI Design
• Full Stack Development
• 3D printing and IoT devices
• Regulated environments like Medical or Financial industry
• DevOps
• Material sciences & Pharmaceutical knowledge
• Data science and/or machine learning
• Embedded development
