Hello, I'm Niklas, and I serve as the strategic leader and founder of CurifyLabs, specializing in cutting-edge pharmaceutical science. My background spans both academia and the pharmaceutical industry, where I'm recognized as an expert in printed drug research, actively shaping the future of drug manufacturing. I've held the role of Professor in Pharmaceutical Technology at Åbo Akademi University since 2009, giving me extensive knowledge in material science, tech transfer, IPR, and technology commercialization. Additionally, I've held the position of Chief Technology Officer at Nanoform Finland Ltd. My research is centered around pioneering 3D printing for medicine production, and I've published extensively in international journals, contributing significantly to the field of pharmaceutical science.

About CurifyLabs

 

CurifyLabs emerged from a decade of research by Niklas Sandler Topelius at Åbo Akademi University, Finland. His investigation on modernizing extemporaneous drug manufacturing grabbed the attention of Charlotta Topelius, a successful entrepreneur, who recognized an opportunity to revolutionize manual compounding processes in pharmacies.

In 2021, CurifyLabs was established with a mission to digitize and simplify pharmacy compounding. 

Since then, CurifyLabs has grown and assembled a team of experts in pharmaceutical formulation development, software engineering, and quality control. 

At CurifyLabs, we remain committed to providing solutions that enable optimal treatments for all patients.
